No. Our Twin-Screw Extruder processes the starch under high temperature and pressure, completely changing its structure to “Alpha-Starch”. This ensures the powder absorbs water instantly and becomes a smooth paste without any lumps, even in warm water.

Does the extrusion heat destroy vitamins and minerals?

Extrusion is a “High-Temperature Short-Time” (HTST) process, so nutrient loss is minimal. Furthermore, for heat-sensitive vitamins (like Vitamin C or Probiotics), we recommend adding them in the final Post-Blending Stage (after grinding) to ensure 100% retention.

How do I clean the machine for baby food hygiene?

The twin-screw extruder has a Self-Cleaning Function—the screws wipe each other clean as they rotate, so there is no need to disassemble the barrel for cleaning. All contact parts are made of Food Grade Stainless Steel 304/316 for easy washdown.
