Nutrition Powder & Modified Starch Production Line
Produce premium Instant Baby Food and industrial Pregelatinized Starch with one versatile line. High-efficiency extrusion paired with ultra-fine, dust-free milling technology.
The Science of Solubility:
Extrusion Pregelatinization
Raw grains (like rice or corn) are hard to digest and don’t dissolve in water. Our Twin-Screw Extrusion technology changes this through High-Temperature Short-Time (HTST) processing.
The extruder breaks the molecular hydrogen bonds of the starch, converting it from a crystalline structure into Alpha-Starch.
The result is a powder that absorbs water instantly without boiling, providing a smooth, lump-free texture for baby food or stable viscosity for industrial use.
For Baby Food
High Digestibility & Safety.
The extrusion process sterilizes the grain and breaks down starch, making it easy for infants to absorb. Perfect for instant rice cereal, oatmeal, and sesame paste.
For Modified Starch
Stable Viscosity.
Produces pregelatinized starch widely used in oil drilling mud, textile sizing, and paper making. It thickens instantly in cold water without heating.
Instant Solubility
No Lumps, No Cooking.
Whether for food or industry, the key value is convenience. The powder disperses rapidly in water, saving preparation time and energy costs for the end-user.
From Grain to Fine Powder
A hygienic process that transforms raw grains into pregelatinized, instant-soluble powder while preserving essential nutrients.
Raw Material Mixing
Grains flour (rice, corn, oat) is mixed with water. For modified starch, chemical additives can be mixed here to adjust pH levels.
Pregelatinization Extrusion
The core step. High temperature and pressure inside the barrel break the starch structure (Alpha-starch), making it instantly soluble in water.
Drying
The extruded pellets or flakes are dried to remove moisture. This makes the material brittle and easy to grind in the next step.
Micro-Grinding
A specialized Pulse Dust-Collecting Grinder pulverizes the dried material into fine powder (60-120 mesh) without dust pollution.
Nutrient Fortification
Heat-sensitive elements (Vitamins, Minerals, Milk Powder) are added here via a ribbon blender to ensure they remain active and undamaged.
Automatic Packing
The final powder is packed into metal cans or plastic bags. We offer nitrogen filling options to extend the shelf life of baby food.
Precision Equipment for Fine Powder
From high-shear extrusion for solubility to dust-free milling for hygiene. Every machine is engineered for the highest food safety standards.
High-Shear Twin Screw Extruder
Unlike snack extruders, this machine is configured for High Shear & High Pressure. It completely breaks down the starch molecular chain ($\alpha$-starch), ensuring the final powder dissolves instantly in water without cooking.
Pulse Dust-Collecting Grinder
A clean factory is mandatory for baby food. Our grinder features a Cyclone Separator and Pulse Dust Collector to trap 99.9% of dust. It grinds the dried flakes into ultra-fine powder (60-120 mesh) with minimal noise.
Nutritional Ribbon Blender
After grinding, heat-sensitive ingredients (Vitamins, DHA, Minerals) are added. Our Ribbon Blender ensures a Homogeneous Mix in minutes, guaranteeing that every scoop of baby food contains the exact nutrient dosage.
Versatile Powder Applications
From infant nutrition to instant breakfast. Produce high-margin powder products with varying viscosity and nutrient profiles.
Baby Rice Cereal
Highly digestible instant rice flour. Enriched with vitamins and minerals, specifically designed for infants’ delicate digestive systems.
Instant Oatmeal
Pre-cooked oat powder that dissolves instantly in hot water or milk. A popular, healthy breakfast solution for all ages.
Sesame Paste
Traditional nutritional powders made from black sesame, walnut, or red bean. Smooth texture and rich aroma.

Why choose Extrusion over Traditional Drum Drying? The answer lies in energy efficiency, hygiene, and product versatility.
Drum (Roller) Drying
Using steam-heated rollers to cook and dry starch slurry. Common but inefficient.
Twin-Screw Extrusion
Using HTST extrusion to modify starch structure in a closed barrel.

Why Choose Loyal?
Powder production requires strict hygiene and precise process control. We solve the common issues of dust pollution, nutrient loss, and poor solubility.
Dust-Free Workshop
Hygiene is the #1 priority for baby food. Our Pulse Dust Collecting System captures 99.9% of fine particles, ensuring your factory meets GMP standards.
Nutrient Retention
We use Low-Temperature Grinding technology to prevent heat from destroying vitamins. Sensitive nutrients are added in the final blending stage.
Instant Solubility
No clumping. Our extruder’s High Shear Design completely breaks down starch structures, ensuring the powder dissolves instantly in warm water or milk.
Precise Mesh Size
From 60 to 120 mesh. We provide Adjustable Screen Options for the grinder, allowing you to control the fineness of the powder for different applications.
Frequently Asked Questions
Expert answers on solubility, nutrient preservation, and machine maintenance.
Will the nutrition powder clump when mixed with water?
No. Our Twin-Screw Extruder processes the starch under high temperature and pressure, completely changing its structure to “Alpha-Starch”. This ensures the powder absorbs water instantly and becomes a smooth paste without any lumps, even in warm water.
Does the extrusion heat destroy vitamins and minerals?
Extrusion is a “High-Temperature Short-Time” (HTST) process, so nutrient loss is minimal. Furthermore, for heat-sensitive vitamins (like Vitamin C or Probiotics), we recommend adding them in the final Post-Blending Stage (after grinding) to ensure 100% retention.
How do I clean the machine for baby food hygiene?
The twin-screw extruder has a Self-Cleaning Function—the screws wipe each other clean as they rotate, so there is no need to disassemble the barrel for cleaning. All contact parts are made of Food Grade Stainless Steel 304/316 for easy washdown.
Can I process different grains like oats or corn?
Yes. The line is highly versatile. You can process rice, corn, wheat, oats, millet, buckwheat, and beans. You can also mix them to create multi-grain formulas. Adjusting the screw speed and temperature allows you to handle different raw materials easily.
What is the difference between this and “Native Starch”?
Native starch (raw flour) is insoluble in cold water. Our machine produces Pregelatinized (Modified) Starch, which dissolves in cold water and provides high viscosity. This is essential for industrial applications like oil drilling mud and construction adhesives.
