Industrial Fried Snack Production Lines
Mastering the art of frying. From 3D pellets and Kurkure to Tortilla chips, our Continuous Frying Systems deliver uniform color, consistent texture, and low oil absorption for maximum profitability.
Golden Color, Lower Costs.
Precision Oil Management.
The profitability of a fried snack line depends on two factors: Product Quality (uniform color, crispy texture) and Oil Management (filtration and turnover).
Loyal’s Continuous Frying System is engineered to solve the common issues of uneven frying and high oil absorption. By integrating dynamic oil circulation with an automatic filtration system, we extend the lifespan of your cooking oil while ensuring every chip meets the highest standard.
-
Extended Oil Life: Continuous filtration removes carbonized particles, preventing acid value (AV) rise and saving up to 20% on oil costs.
-
Precise Temperature: Multi-zone heating control (±1°C) prevents over-frying and minimizes Acrylamide formation.
-
Low Oil Content: High-efficiency vibration or centrifugal de-oiling removes excess surface oil for a healthier, crunchier snack.
Active Filtration
Continuous removal of residue to keep oil fresh and clean.
Select Your Production Line
While the frying system is universal, the shaping method defines the product. Choose the line based on your target snack shape and raw material.
Secondary Expansion
2D & 3D Pellet Production Line
Process potato/starch pellets into crispy snacks (Prawn Crackers, 3D Hearts, Rackets). The fryer rapidly expands the semi-finished pellets.
Explore Pellet Line
Extruded & Fried
Fried Salad / Bugles Line
Uses twin-screw extrusion to shape flour into Bugles, Crispy Angles, or Sala Sticks, followed by continuous frying for a crunchy texture.
Explore Bugles Line
Sheeting & Cutting
Doritos / Tortilla Chip Line
Traditional corn snacks. Corn dough is rolled into thin sheets, cut into triangles, and fried. Requires specialized Roller Forming equipment.
Explore Tortilla Line
Rotary Head Extrusion
Kurkure / Cheetos Line
Famous irregular corn snacks (Nik Naks). Produced by a special Rotary Head Extruder that rubs corn grits into twists before frying.
Explore Kurkure LineFrom Dough to Golden Crisp
While the shaping method varies by product, the core frying technology ensures consistent quality. Here is the standard industrial process.
Mixing & Hydration
Flour (corn, wheat, or potato starch) is mixed with water in a Double-Shaft Mixer to achieve the perfect moisture level for shaping.
Uniform HydrationForming / Extrusion
This step defines the product:
• Bugles: Twin-Screw Extruder.
• Tortillas: Roller Sheeter & Cutter.
• Kurkure: Rotary Head Extruder.
Continuous Frying
The formed snacks travel through hot oil on a mesh belt. Dynamic Oil Flow ensures even heat distribution, while the Double-Layer Belt prevents floating products from surfacing prematurely.
Precise Temp ControlDe-Oiling
Crucial for crunchiness. A Vibration De-oiler or Centrifugal Spinner removes excess surface oil immediately after frying, preventing greasiness.
Low Oil ContentDrum Flavoring
Snacks are tumbled in a rotating drum where oil spray and powder seasoning (Cheese, BBQ, Chili) are applied uniformly.
Even CoatingCooling & Packaging
The seasoned snacks are cooled to room temperature on a conveyor before being weighed and packed into nitrogen-flushed bags.

Core Frying Technologies
Consistency & Longevity
Our continuous frying systems address the two biggest challenges in snack production: keeping oil clean and ensuring uniform heat distribution.
Double-Layer Belt
Most puffed snacks (Pellets, Bugles) float in hot oil. Our system uses a Submersion Belt (top layer) to gently press products down, ensuring they are fully immersed for uniform cooking color.
Continuous Oil Filtration
Frying residue carbonizes quickly, ruining oil quality. We integrate an Automatic Drum Filter or Oil Scraper that continuously removes fines, extending oil life by up to 30%.
External Heat Exchanger
For large capacity lines, we use an external tubular heat exchanger. This separates the flame from the oil, preventing localized overheating and reducing fire risk, while maintaining ±1°C precision.
Dynamic Oil Circulation System
Static oil leads to uneven frying. Loyal’s fryers feature multiple oil inlets and outlets along the pan. This creates a Dynamic Flow that moves with the product (or against it), preventing snacks from sticking together and ensuring every piece receives identical thermal treatment.

Built for Safety, Designed for Hygiene
Frying lines operate at 180°C+. We prioritize operational safety and easy cleaning to protect your factory and your consumers.
1. Oil Strategy
Oil is your biggest running cost. We calculate the optimal oil turnover rate (OTR) and recommend filtration levels to minimize FFA rise and waste.
2. Fire Safety
Our fryers include redundant over-temperature sensors and emergency shut-off valves. We help design your layout for maximum fire safety compliance.
3. Easy Cleaning
The Auto-Lifting Hood raises the entire conveyor belt mechanism, giving your team full access to clean the fryer bottom and remove residue.
4. Operator Training
Frying is an art. We train your operators on controlling temperature curves, managing oil levels, and executing safe start-up/shut-down procedures.
Proven in High-Volume Factories
From Prawn Cracker plants in Indonesia to Tortilla Chip factories in Mexico. Loyal’s continuous frying lines are trusted by manufacturers who demand reliability and consistency 24/7.
Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about frying capacity, oil management, and heating sources.
Can I fry different snacks (e.g., Pellets and Nuts) in the same fryer?
Yes, but with conditions. Our continuous fryer allows you to adjust the belt speed and oil temperature to suit different products. However, if you switch from a floating product (like prawn crackers) to a sinking product (like broad beans), you may need a different belt configuration or a convertible belt design.
Should I choose Electric or Gas heating?
For small capacities (< 200kg/h), Electricity is convenient and easy to install. For industrial lines (> 300kg/h), we strongly recommend Natural Gas or Diesel. Although the initial machine cost is slightly higher, the running cost of gas is typically 50-70% lower than electricity in most countries.
My current snacks are too oily. How does your line solve this?
High oil content often comes from low frying temperatures or poor drainage. Our system uses: 1. Precise PID Control to keep oil hot enough to seal the surface quickly. 2. A powerful De-oiling Machine (Vibration or Centrifugal) immediately after the fryer to shake off excess surface oil before cooling.
How does the oil filtration system work?
We offer two stages. Stage 1 (Standard): A coarse mesh belt inside the fryer continuously drags out large crumbs. Stage 2 (Advanced): An external drum filter or oil scraper actively pumps oil out, filters fine particles (down to microns), and returns clean oil to the fryer. This prevents the oil from turning black and acidic.
Is the machine easy to clean?
Yes. All food-contact parts are made of SUS304 Stainless Steel. The key feature is the Auto-Lifting Hood system, which raises the entire conveyor belt and heating pipes out of the tank electrically, allowing your workers to pressure-wash the tank bottom easily.
Calculating your frying costs?
We can help you estimate the oil consumption and energy costs for your specific product.
