Traditional dryers rely on Heat Conduction (Hot Air), which dries the surface first. This often traps moisture inside (case hardening) or damages the product’s color due to long heat exposure.

Loyal’s Industrial Microwave uses Volumetric Heating. The electromagnetic waves penetrate the material, causing water molecules to vibrate 2.45 billion times per second.

This friction generates heat from the center outwards. Moisture is pushed to the surface and evaporated instantly. The result? Drying times are reduced from hours to minutes, preserving the fresh color and active ingredients of your product.

Uniform Feeding

Material is spread onto the PTFE belt via a distributor. Uniform thickness (usually 2-5cm) is critical for even drying results.

Volumetric Heating

Magnetrons emit 2450 MHz microwaves. The waves penetrate the material, vibrating water molecules to generate instant internal heat.

Moisture Exhaust

As water turns to steam, top-mounted Dehumidification Fans rapidly extract the vapor from the tunnel to prevent re-condensation.

Air Cooling

Since the product is hot throughout, a cooling section at the end reduces temperature to ambient levels before discharge to prevent burning.

Output

The dried, sterilized product is discharged. It is now shelf-stable, retains its original color, and is ready for packaging or grinding.

Is the radiation safe for workers?

Absolutely. The machine is designed with industrial Choke Suppressors at the inlet and outlet to prevent leakage. We guarantee microwave leakage is below 5mW/cm² (the international safety standard). It is completely safe to work alongside the machine.

Does microwave drying damage nutrients or color?

No. In fact, it preserves them better than traditional methods. Because the drying time is extremely short (minutes vs. hours) and the temperature is controlled, sensitive compounds like Chlorophyll (green color) and Vitamins are retained significantly better than in slow hot-air dryers.

Does it sterilize the product while drying?

Yes. Microwaves have a proven thermal and non-thermal biological effect. They effectively kill bacteria (E. coli, Salmonella), mold, and insect eggs during the drying process, extending the shelf life of your product without chemical additives.

Is it expensive to run compared to electric ovens?

Microwave drying is generally more energy-efficient. In a standard oven, you waste energy heating the air and the metal walls. In a microwave, energy couples directly with the water in the product. The energy conversion efficiency is very high.

Can I dry metal or plastic materials?

You cannot dry metal items as they reflect microwaves and cause arcing. Plastics vary; some are transparent to microwaves, while others may melt. This machine is best suited for Organic Materials (food, feed, wood) and specific Chemical Powders with high moisture content.
